Classic clip from the 1980 Robert Zemeckis film “Used Cars.” Jack Warren as Luke Fuchs, the benevolent own of New Deal Used Cars, is induced into a heart attack by the driving antics of Mickey (Michael Talbott), a demolition derby driver and henchman of Luke’s evil competitor and brother (also played by Warren) Roy L. Fuchs. In the process a beautiful 1957 Chevrolet two door is wiped out of existence. At least its done hilariously. This clip has been sanitized for family viewing.
that was the most horrible thing I’ve ever seen….
Fucking pointless. Beautiful car. I hope like hell it was a worthless kit car they used. Just like the Edsel. Is it restorable? Yes,Just that much more work that needs to be done. I would trade my ‘66 Merc in a flash for it.
fuck you, faggot bitch go suck a dick
Superb
50 bucks never killed anybody
The car rolling is not the same as in the last scene. The roof is in better shape than the last car.
i got this movie on vhs tape. it’s one of my favorites of all time.
the best part of this movie…and yes the car is fixable…
Oh please, stop whining about a destroyed 57 Chevy. Those damn cars are more common than a Toyota Camry. If it means one less fucking Chevy at a car show, then I’m happy!!
Horrific waste of a classic car. Pointless, dumb and just plain wasteful. Plenty of crap from the 60s and even 70s that was plentiful enough and cheap enough to be destroyed for this scene instead of this car. I dont even like Chevys that much but this is tragic
you are so right! a beautiful woman is still beautiful, no matter what her age!.. and well frankly an ‘85 impala, aint much of a “beautiful woman”
Jumped the jersey barrier!! Luv it!!
“Used Cars”
whats this movie called? Id love to see it
A+A+A+A i forgot all about this
MOVIE..thanks ITS great..Steve
In Canada..
Right on…my favorite car of all time, even considering my appreciation for all cars of that period!!!
You couldn’t be more wrong. 57 chevy’s have always been popular, even when they were 5,10,15,20+ years old. They have always had a cult following. To compare it to a 85 Impala is just plain ridiculous.
lol remember, in 1980 this was a 23 year old car. and usually 20-30 year old cars are really common and are cheap in the market so i bet none of us would be crying if a 1985 chevy impala was destroyed but i bet in around 20 years those 1980’s impalas will be classic. wat im tryin to say is, that 57 wasnt classic or collectible back in 1980 so they destroyed it
best movie
“C’mon, ‘ya gotta be jackin’ me!!” LOVE that line!
Damn shame that 57 got destroyed
That was so sad. what a poor old man.
Jack Warden gets taken for a ride. One of the funniest movie death scenes ever.
it better run like a wet dream
Funniest comedy YOU’VE EVER heard of. I did.
