The car as a whole is very nice, but the outer shell is hideous. Needs an injection of serious design intervention.

Veyron uses engines powered by Audi…. as do the Gallardo and the Murcielago. The McLaren F1 used a BMW M motor, as does the Ascari. How about the Saleen S7? That’s made by Ford….not to mention Pagaini uses V-12’s made by AMG. Maserati and Alfa use Fiat V8’s…and for argument’s sake…so does Ferrari. Aston used Jag engines before Ford sold it. Land Rover still does use Jag V8’s.Lotus uses engines from Toyota, the little Ariel Atom is powered by Honda,the Koenigsegg CCR had a Ford engine too

let’s face reality please. Spyker will NOT design its own engine and implement it in Saab. The most likely scenario is Spyker will use the best Saab engine. Pump it up to edge in terms of optimising. AND THERE YOU GO same story only better faster AND CHEAPER (the dutch way)

I personally love the interior. It’s a lovely place to be. I’ve been in older Ferraris that have terrible interiors too – cheap plastic covered in cheap felt that comes away far too easily. Depends on what you like, of course!
Hardly likely to happen owing to economies of scale. Why invest so much money when you can buy a perfectly good unit and alter it for your own needs?
The new car market at the moment is severely crippled, and sales figures can of course influence what money can be spent on development. From SAABs point of view, I’m just glad the marque appears to have been saved.

How the fuck could you praise the weird and cheap looking interior? It doesn’t look exclusive at all! Such an expensive car should look much better than that. The exterior however looks OK.

Yeah !!!!! I am from Sweden and I really love the new concept. Great car makers in Holland and Sweden. Remember Volvo some years ago bought DAF !! But now Saab – Spyker will move on, and Rock on!
